Our Offering
1. How does it work?

VALUATION

It really is very easy to do and only takes moments to get your offer!
  • Arrow  Enter your registration number straight from our Home page
  •   Enter the mileage and miscellaneous information
  •   Enter your personal contact information
  •   Give us an honest assessment of your cars condition
  •   Upload an image, the more images the better
  •   Then simply press submit...
  •   We will then review the details, do a valuation and email this back to you

CONFIRMATION

What happens next.........?
  •   You get an the email, you then press 'accept' and you are then transported back to the website
  •   Simply then confirm the acceptance of the offer
  •   Once of our team will then be in contact within the next 24 hours to confirm an appointment time

PURCHASE

  •   Bring your car to one of our drop off facilities. We have one in the South based in London and one in the North in Manchester. Details will be agreed at the time of making the appointment
  •   Bring all the documentation required as displayed in the confirmation page and on your final email
  •   We will then check to make sure your online appraisal matches up and then sort everything out within the hour
  •   Inspection through to payment confirmation takes just 30 minutes
  •   We pay directly into your bank account, which takes 3-4 days to complete. We can arrange payment within the day if before 3pm for a nominal administration charge. Please ensure you bring all your bank details with you
2. Can you settle my finance?

  •   We can arrange settlement of any outstanding finance on your car. Please note that you will need to provide a letter detailing a current settlement figure from your finance company. We will then deduct that amount paid to you for your car
3. What happens if I do not provide accurate information about my cars condition?

  •   The valuation we provide is based on the vehicle details and the current industry value. A pivotal part of this valuation is the condition as a car in excellent condition is worth more than one in poor condition. Should the condition not be as described, we reserve the right to amend the quote accordingly
4. If my Car is a non runner, or CAT and D write offs, will you buy it?

  •   Yes, we will buy any car however, the quote will reflect the condition and state of the vehicle
5. Do you buy cars with personal registrations?

  •   Yes, we only require a small administration charge should you wish to keep the registration and we will transfer it into your name. If you however, you do not wish to keep the registration we will accept as is
Your Information
1. Why do you need my contact information?

  •   We need your contact information so that we can send your car valuation, once it has been calculated. We ask for your telephone number so that we can get in touch if we have any queries about your car. We also use the information entered to verify you are the owner and registered keeper of the vehicle. Please note, we fully adhere to the 1998 Data Protection Act and will not divulge any of your personal details to any other third party
Documentation
1. What documentation should I bring with me?

  •   V5 document (Log book) - Must be in the name of the seller
  •   Proof of identity (Passport or driving license, bank card)
  •   Vehicle Log Book (Showing service history etc...)
  •   Accessory instructions booklets (If applicable) to include Audio code, CD's etc...
  •   Proof of address (Utility bill, bank statement, council tax bill)
Making an Appointment
1. How do I make an appointment?

  •    Once you have received your offer via email you will be asked to confirm your acceptance of the offer, once by clicking the email and then again on our website once you have done this you can proceed to the booking page and arrange an appointment at your nearest branch, All this can be done online and you can even reschedule your appointment if circumstances change. Once the branch receives confirmation of your booking you should later receive a confirmation email confirming your booking. If for whatever reason the booking can't be approved at the Trademymotor branch you will receive an email denying your booking, this happens from time to time due to unforeseen circumstances. You can then re-schedule when it is convenient for yourself.
2. What are our opening times?

  •   We are open 7 days a week and are open till late. In most cases we can accommodate your requirements and are flexible
Our Centres - Drop Off Locations
1. When I arrive, who will I be seeing?

  •   All our staff is well trained and professional and so you will be seen by any one of our highly experienced staff. Each is able to inspect the vehicle and complete the purchase of your car
2. Do you have refreshments on site?

  •   We are always on hand to offer some liquid refreshments in the form of Tea, Coffee or water
Payment Terms
1. How do I get my money?

  •   We pay directly into your bank account, which takes 3-4 days to complete. We can arrange payment within the day if before 3pm for a nominal administration charge. Please ensure you bring all your bank details with you
  •   If you prefer we can provide a company cheque
2. How can I be sure I will receive the money?

  •   When you bring your car down to us you will be given a purchase invoice which will have the details of the transaction, the terms and conditions are also clearly marked on here. 'Payment will be made directly to your bank account within 3 to 4 working days' You have the option to choose our Fast payment method and this is usually next working day
  •        *A small fee applies if you choose our next working day payment service

  •   No problem, simply go to our 'Contact us' page and give us a call, we will then locate your details, confirm your email and send it again
